Precision Machining Technician

We are looking for a Precision Machining Technician to join our growing client in Taunton

Pay: £23,132.20 – £24,588.20

Immediate start – Permanent contract

Previous experience within similar role required preferred but not essential

Monday to Friday day shifts 35 hours per week

JDR is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Precision Machining Technician to join a highly reputable client of ours in the Taunton area.

The role:

As a Precision Machining Technician your duties will be as followed:

• Carrying out various machining processes in the production area within a manufacturing environment

• Mounting and machining products

• Quality checking ensuring products meet company standards

• Following drawings and work instructions

• Ensuing that you’re always adhering to health and safety regulations

About you:

As a Precision Machining Technician, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience as a Machining Technician preferred however the client is happy to consider candidates who have not long graduated engineering course at college

• Ability to follow technical drawings

• Able to travel to Taunton Monday to Friday

• Strong communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
