Job Title:
Grounds Maintenance Officer

Type of work:
6 month contract (potentially long term options)

Hourly Rate:
£13.23 per hour 

Hours / Days:
07:00am – 15:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Location:
Windermere (LA23)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering grounds maintenance services across various sites according to a set schedule
  • Operating and conducting routine checks on a range of equipment e.g. handheld tools and vehicles
  • Performing minor repair work on a range of materials within range of your training level and competence 
  • Following all Health and Safety regulations and all further company policies
  • Identifying opportunities for site improvements and planning winter maintenance activities during routine visits
  • Collaborating effectively with process and network teams while working on their sites.

Skills & Experience Requirement:

  • Experience of working within a maintenance role across indoor and outdoor environments
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Organisation and completion of different maintenance tasks across different sites 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with senior members of staff effectively 
  • Previous experience of working towards certain targets around service excellence and customer feedback
  • Completing risk assessments
