JDR Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading UK retailer to recruit 7.5T Delivery & Install Drivers to join their growing team in Ballyclare.
This is much more than a driving job. You’ll be delivering and installing a range of household appliances and technology products directly into customers’ homes, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, professionally, and with exceptional customer service.
Full product installation training will be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers who enjoy working with people and want to develop new skills.
As a 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver, you’ll work as part of a two-person delivery crew, completing multi-drop deliveries and installations throughout Northern Ireland.
From washing machines and fridge freezers to televisions and other household technology, you’ll help customers get their new purchases up and running while providing a first-class delivery experience.
Every day is different, offering a combination of driving, customer interaction, problem-solving, and hands-on installation work.
Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle across scheduled delivery routes
Complete multi-drop deliveries efficiently and on time
Ensure the correct products are delivered to the correct customers
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Install a range of household appliances and consumer technology products
Demonstrate products where required and answer basic customer queries
Ensure all installations are completed safely and to company standards
Remove packaging and leave customers’ homes clean and tidy
Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every visit
Build positive relationships with customers
Represent the business professionally at all times
Resolve minor issues confidently while maintaining excellent service standards
Safely lift and manoeuvre heavy appliances and electrical products
Work closely with your delivery partner throughout the day
Follow all manual handling, health & safety, and driving regulations
β Full UK/EA Class C1 (7.5T) Driving Licence
β No more than 6 penalty points
β Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
β Tachograph Card (preferred)
β Excellent customer service and communication skills
β Ability to safely lift and handle heavy products
β Positive, professional, and reliable attitude
β Enjoy working as part of a team
