The Opportunity

As an Administrative Support Assistant, you’ll provide essential day-to-day support across several areas of the business, helping to ensure the office operates efficiently and professionally.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider management team, you’ll assist with financial administration, document management, HR coordination, office organisation, compliance administration, and general business support.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking and taking ownership of a broad range of responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

Office Administration

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the business

  • Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and direct enquiries appropriately

  • Manage incoming and outgoing office correspondence

  • Maintain an organised, efficient, and professional office environment

Finance Administration

  • Assist with petty cash administration

  • Match invoices and process basic financial records

  • Support the Finance Manager with routine finance administration

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

HR & Business Support

  • Liaise with the company’s external HR provider

  • Assist with general HR administration when required

  • Support management with a range of ad hoc administrative tasks

Document Management & Compliance

  • Scan, file, and securely archive company documentation

  • Maintain digital filing systems

  • Prepare and organise documentation relating to industry licensing and compliance requirements

  • Ensure confidential documents are handled appropriately

Marketing Support

  • Assist in creating or updating promotional materials

  • Support social media marketing activity

  • Help maintain professional marketing content across digital platforms

Office & Procurement

  • Monitor office stationery and consumable stock levels

  • Order office supplies as required

  • Help maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment

  • Ensure your workstation and shared office areas remain tidy and presentable


What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

βœ” Previous experience working within a busy office or administrative environment

βœ” Strong organisational and time management skills

βœ” Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively

βœ” Good working knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Standard office software

βœ” Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

βœ” High level of attention to detail

βœ” Ability to work independently using your own initiative

βœ” Professional and confidential approach


Desirable Experience

βœ” Experience within a regulated industry

βœ” Previous finance or accounts administration experience

βœ” Experience handling petty cash or assisting with bookkeeping tasks

βœ” Experience supporting social media or marketing activities
