Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop customer accounts across the UK to enhance satisfaction, drive revenue, and improve profitability.
  • Proactively identify, generate, and follow up on new business leads.
  • Seek out and develop new business opportunities to support growth.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact and engaging regularly via phone and virtual meetings.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers.
  • Maintain and manage contract pricing for both existing and prospective hospital clients.
  • Protect existing business while actively pursuing new opportunities.
  • Analyse product and account data to identify trends, monitor performance, and address declines in sales.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to provide product support and progress potential opportunities.
  • Manage back orders, including suggesting alternative products and producing customer-facing reports.
  • Complete customer quality assessment documentation in line with requirements.
  • Support tender submissions and manage tender activities following contract awards.
  • Maintain and update tender information post-award.
  • Set up and price new products within internal systems.

The Candidate:

  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and maximise business opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical skills – interpretation of data and identifying trends
  • Proven ability to convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, alongside a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data analysis.
  • Good understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
