Buying Assistant – Salford Quays

Full time and permanent

£26,000 per annum

Hybrid available after training is completed

We are recruiting for a Buying Assistant on behalf of a global brand in the Salford Quays area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door and develop a career within Buying and Procurement. Previous experience in Buying is preferred but not essential for this role!

You’ll be based on site for the first 2 weeks, after that you’ll move to hybrid and work 2 days from home.

What you’ll be doing –

• Manage product enquiries from internal and external customers
• Using different sources to research various products and availability
• Liaise with buyers to obtain pricing and availability
• Own all enquiries from start to finish
• Manage and maintain internal spreadsheets and processes

What we’re looking for –

• Previous experience within buying/procurement is advantageous not but essential to the role
• Strong computer literacy skills, including Excel
• Hardworking individual who is keen to learner and develop
• People person with strong communication skills
• Strong organisational and administration skills

Hours of work –

• Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm
