The Opportunity

As a Casual HGV Delivery Driver, you’ll provide cover across a variety of delivery routes, ensuring essential products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to customers throughout Northern Ireland.

You’ll become an important part of the transport team, stepping in when additional driver support is required. This role offers flexibility while providing regular opportunities to work with a well-established and respected organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Deliveries

• Safely operate HGV vehicles in accordance with all road traffic legislation

• Complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries across Northern Ireland

• Ensure products are delivered accurately and on time

• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and defect reporting

• Maintain accurate delivery records and transport documentation

Customer Service

• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers

• Represent the company to the highest standards

• Build positive relationships with customers during deliveries

• Resolve minor delivery queries professionally where appropriate

Vehicle & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations

• Follow all company transport procedures and health & safety policies

• Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and well-presented

• Report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly

Team Support

• Provide flexible cover for annual leave, sickness, and peak operational periods

• Support warehouse and transport colleagues where required

• Work safely and efficiently as part of a wider logistics team

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

✔ Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence

✔ Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

✔ Digital Tachograph Card

✔ Previous HGV multi-drop delivery experience

✔ Excellent knowledge of Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations

✔ Strong customer service and communication skills

✔ Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland

✔ Flexible approach to working hours and shift availability

✔ Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
