Cleaner

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise public areas including reception areas, changing rooms, toilets, shower facilities, gyms, sports halls, cafés, and staff areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Carry out routine cleaning of equipment, furniture, windows, and fixtures.
• Respond promptly to spillages and other hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks and periodic cleaning schedules.
• Ensure cleaning records and checklists are completed accurately.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Skills and Experience

• Previous cleaning experience
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.

6:30am-2pm

5pm-8pm

2pm – 9:30pm

£12.71 per hour
