Counterbalance FLT Driver

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to work for a manufacturing company based in Doncaster DN2.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely in line with company procedures and HSE regulations
- Load and unload palletised goods onto and off articulated (artic) trailers
- Move stock within the warehouse and yard as required
- Ensure goods are handled safely to prevent damage
- Carry out daily pre-use safety checks on the FLT
- Accurately complete paperwork or scanning tasks (e.g., delivery notes, stock systems)
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures, including use of PPE
- Report any defects, incidents, or damages promptly
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
- Experience loading/unloading articulated vehicles
- Good understanding of warehouse operations
- Ability to work accurately and at pace
- Strong awareness of health & safety practices
- Good communication skills
Working Hours
Monday – Friday 8am-4pm (37.5 hours paid per week)
Ongoing work
£13.45 per hour
