Job Title: Customer Service Advisor
Location: Preston – On-site
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday
Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable Customer Service Advisor to join our client’s team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. You will work closely with colleagues and other departments to provide accurate information and deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle high volumes of customer enquiries via phone, email
Provide clear and accurate information on products, services, and processes
Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently, escalating where necessary
Record all interactions accurately in company systems
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, procedures, and products
Work with other team members to meet daily and weekly performance targets
Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting ways to improve processes and service
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a DBS and credit check
Previous customer service experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to remain professional under pressure
Flexible to work shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Basic IT literacy and experience using customer service systems
Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively
