JDR Recruitment are working in partnership with our leading home delivery client based in Ballyclare to recruit a number of Drivers Mates / Customer Delivery Assistants to join their team.

Duties of the Role:

• Delivering white goods such as American fridge freezers, televisions, and other household appliances to customer properties as part of a two-person delivery team.

• Lifting and carrying items up to 25kg, ensuring strict adherence to manual handling procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.

• Acting as the face of the business by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a professional approach on every delivery.

• Assisting the driver with navigation and contacting customers by phone to provide estimated arrival times and delivery updates.

Shift Pattern:

This role operates on a fixed 5 on, 3 off rota, which includes weekend working.

Please do not apply if you are only available Monday to Friday, as the shift pattern is fixed and cannot be amended.

Location:

Northern Ireland

Candidates with their own transport are preferred.

Shift Times:

Shifts start at 7:00am and typically last between 8-10 hours, depending on delivery routes, traffic, and customer requirements.

Rate of Pay:

This role pays £12.81 per hour, paid weekly in arrears.

Overtime is paid at time and a half for all hours worked over 45 hours per week, with regular overtime available.

Induction / Start Date:

Following a successful induction, we are looking for candidates who can start work immediately.

Please only apply if you are available to commence work straight after induction and commit to the rota.

The induction is paid, following completion of your first shift.

Due to the nature of the role, all successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check prior to starting employment.
