Location: Newport, NP19

Immediate start

Shift: 0630-0730 starts average 8hr days 40 hours per week

Pay: £13.20ph

Ongoing contract with temp to perm opportunities

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Driver/Warehouse Op to join our clients team based in Newport.

The role:

As Driver/Warehouse Op, you’ll be responsible for delivery and collections of our clients materials to domestic and commercial customers.

This will include some manual handling. The goods aren’t heavy, just awkward.

Your key responsibilities will be:-

• Carrying out deliveries and/or collections in a timely and professional manner
• Ensuring all goods are handled safely and securely
• Completing relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Maintaining cleanliness and carrying out basic vehicle checks

About you:

As a Driver/Warehouse op you will have the following skills and experience:

• Full UK driving licence
• Proven experience driving a 3.5 tonne van
• Good knowledge of local and surrounding areas
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• A positive and professional attitude
• Warehouse duties when not driving including unloading/loading, clearing, assisting where needed.
