We are looking for a Electrical Engineering Technician

Pay: £40,689.93

Location: Cullompton, Devon

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm Call out and weekend rota (1 in 4)

Permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a Electrical Engineering Technician to work within a manufacturing environment in Cullompton, Devon.

The role: Will involve working within a team of Engineers and responding to breakdown maintenance, preventative maintenance schedules, production improvement programmes and day to day site maintenance. Reporting to the Electrical Manager, the Electrical Technician will be responsible for completing both Electrical and Instrumentation engineering tasks. Where necessary, training will be given on any specific site equipment.

About you: As a Electrical Engineering Technician you will have the following skills and experience:

We are looking for a candidate that is preferably ONC qualified, but not essential, and time-served with knowledge and experience of:

• Three phase electrical systems
• Analog current loops
• Hydraulic systems
• Pneumatic systems
• Industrial environments
• An understanding of PLC and DCS systems is desirable, but not essential.
• Must be able to work individually and as part of a team to achieve the necessary results.
