Electrical Wireman

We are looking for a Electrical Wireman

Salary: £12.21 -£17.00 an hour (depending on experience)

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Shift: Monday – Thursday 7am-5pm with a long weekend off!

Temporary to permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a Electrical Wireman to work in a manufacturing site in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The Role:

• Control panel building and machine wiring.
• Must be able to read and understand electrical wiring drawings and schematics.
• The role will involve point-to-point wiring
• Cable crimping
• Looming, and cable terminating.
• You may be required to do general panel fitting which would involve marking out and drilling work.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
As a Electrical Wireman you will have the following skills and experience:

• Panel wiring.
• Drilling, tapping & electrical assembly work.
• Crimping, terminating, looming work.
• Soldering.
• Panel fitting.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics.
• An understanding of electrical motor control and wiring would be of benefit.
• Experience and the ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative are essential.
