Workshop Operative – Electrical Repair & Fault Finding

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Operative to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity with an immediate start available.

The Role

Our client specialises in the decommissioning, refurbishment, and repair of gaming terminals used in casinos and pubs. Duties will include:

• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
• Repairing and refurbishing gaming terminals
• Assembly and disassembly of equipment
• Testing electrical components and ensuring units are operational
• Moving and handling gaming terminals safely within the workshop

Physical Requirements

This is a very physical role due to the size and weight of the gaming terminals. Tripod wheels are provided to assist with movement; however, candidates must be physically fit and able to safely tilt terminals onto the tripod equipment.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with electrical goods, assembly, or fault finding preferred
• Practical hands-on approach
• Good attention to detail
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
• £13.03 per hour
