Experienced Conveyancer

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Conveyancer on behalf of our client in Preston, PR1

Our client is a 5 star rated business who operate within conveyancing and property law. The business has built up a strong reputation in it’s local marketplace for good, friendly service and efficient handling of transactions.

Location: Preston (PR1)

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 DOE, plus options for a fee sharing arrangement.

Hours of Work: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Hybrid working after probation

The Role:

• Managing a portfolio of conveyancing matters independently from start to finish
• Handling all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring transactions progress smoothly and efficiently
• Reviewing and preparing legal documentation accurately and within required timescales
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties throughout the transaction
• Providing regular updates to clients and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained
• Identifying and resolving issues that may delay completion
• Managing workloads effectively while working towards agreed targets and completion deadlines
• Maintaining accurate records using case management systems
• Ensuring all matters are progressed in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements
• Taking ownership and accountability for delivering successful outcomes on each file

Experience / Skills Required:

• Proven track record of managing and completing conveyancing matters from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and legislation
• High attention to detail and accuracy when managing legal documentation
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
• A minimum of 6 years of experience within a conveyancing role is required for this role
