Experienced MIG Welder

JDR Recruitment are hiring on behalf of their client based in Congleton, CW12

This is a permanent contract from day 1.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced MIG/TIG Welder.

We require a candidate who can demonstrate the physical strength and dexterity required for welding tasks, as well as superb attention to detail.

Location:
Congleton, CW12

Working Hours (4 day working week!):
Monday – Thursday 07:00-16:30

Overtime is available on Fridays at time and a half!

Pay Rate:
£18-19 per hour, depending on experience.

An ideal candidate will be a time-served, experienced welder, as some of the materials can be as thin as 1mm and you’ll be working on cylindrical surfaces.

The Role:

• Selecting appropriate tools and metals
• Measuring and assembling round metal pieces
• Welding mild and stainless steel components
• Ensuring proper weld integrity
• Achieving desired strength and appearance of welded joints
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
• Fabricating components according to engineering drawings
