Factory Cleaner

Location: Horwich, Bolton
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary, 2-week assignment
Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 15:45

  • Friday: 07:00 to 13:00

The Role

We are recruiting for a Factory Cleaner to join our manufacturing client on a 2-week temporary contract. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment across the production facility, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the site.

This is a hands-on role in a busy manufacturing environment and requires someone who is reliable, hardworking and able to work on their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean production areas, walkways and communal spaces

  • Sweep, mop and maintain factory floors

  • Clean staff welfare areas including kitchens, canteens, changing rooms and toilets

  • Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with site procedures

  • Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies

  • Clean office areas and meeting rooms as required

  • Follow all health and safety procedures while using cleaning equipment and chemicals

  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate person

  • Support with general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe working environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environment

  • Good attention to detail

  • Able to work independently and manage your workload

  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping

  • Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet throughout the shift

  • A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed

What’s on Offer

  • £12.71 per hour

  • 40 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 15:45

  • Friday: 07:00 to 13:00

  • Weekly pay

  • Immediate start

  • 2-week temporary contract with a well-established manufacturing business
