Financial Controller - Part Time

Our client in North Preston are a packaging and distribution company mainly within Fast Moving Commercial Goods Market! FMCG) are looking to bring the Accounting function inhouse. The client is looking for a Part Time Qualified Financial Controller/Management Accountant to take control of all Financials within the business.

This role is working closely with the Managing Director of this rapidly expanding SME business.

Location: Preston

Hours of work: 16 – 25 per week negotiable however flexability is required

Job Type: Part Time

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Managing Director and Management Teams
• Sales and overhead forecasting
• Day to day running the company finances – day to day accounts
• Payment processing
• Credit management, invoicing, cash collection
• Balancing, management of banking
• Preparation and presentation of monthly/annual accounts
• VAT Returns and advising on Taxable savings (HMRC)
• Project work across the business
• Payroll

What they are looking for

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent).
• SME Experience is essential
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills.
• Energetic, positive, and able to meet deadlines.
