FLT Reach & Counterbalance Drivers in Stockport Area

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced FLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver to work at a busy site in Stockport. A full UK driving licence is required as the role involves occasionally driving to a small site located nearby.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Reach and Counterbalance trucks safely and efficiently.
• Loading, unloading, moving, stacking, and relocating pallets across the warehouse.
• Transporting goods between the main site and a nearby location when required.
• Replenishment, put-away, and stock movement tasks.
• Picking orders and using scanners or basic paperwork.
• Supporting Goods In/Out operations.
• Adhering to all site Health & Safety procedures.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when not on the truck.

Requirements

• Valid, in-date FLT Reach and Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSSAR preferred).
• Proven experience operating both trucks in a warehouse environment.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Strong awareness of safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet operational targets.
• Good communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work additional hours if required.

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 1:00pm (early finish)
