Job Purpose

To provide general labouring support across operational activities, ensuring materials, equipment, and work areas are maintained safely and efficiently. The role supports site operations through manual handling, housekeeping, and assistance to colleagues in meeting production and service requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Support production, maintenance, and operational teams as required.
  • Carry out general manual handling tasks in accordance with company procedures.
  • Operate hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assist with site preparation, clean-up, and waste disposal activities.
  • Conduct routine checks of work areas and report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly.
  • Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
  • Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Complete any other reasonable duties required to support business operations.

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions when working outdoors.

  • Overtime may be required to meet operational demands.

Shifts

Monday – Friday

The first week will be 8am-4pm, then the training will be on 10am-6pm for approximately 4 weeks.

You will eventually move onto a 2pm-10pm shift

Pay

£12.71 per hour

Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
