JDR Recruitment Limited (Mansfield) are working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading providers of temperature controlled supply chain solutions and we are now recruiting for Handballers / General Operatives to join their Grimsby depot.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering temporary / ad-hoc work for the right candidates. Immediate starts are available with inductions weekly, with limited spaces, so early applications are strongly encouraged.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading products within a cold store environment
• Manual lifting and handling of goods weighing up to 25kg
• Handballing stock from containers, trailers and pallets
• Sorting, stacking and palletising products for storage and dispatch
• Adhering to health and safety procedures while working to productivity targets in a temperature-controlled environment

Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling duties
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Reliable, hard-working and conscientious

Please Note: these roles are working within a temperature controlled, chilled environment.

Shifts & Pay Rates:

• 06:00-14:00 – £12.71 per hour
• 14:00-22:00 – £12.71 per hour
• 22:00-06:00 – £12.88 per hour

All shifts are Monday to Friday.

Shifts are booked daily – flexible shifts to suit your availability!

Location:

The site is based near Grimsby docks.

Due to the shift times, candidates with own transport are preferred.

Induction and Start Date:

Candidates must be available to attend a walk around on site on Wednesday 9th September at 11am.
