JDR Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 2 Tramper Driver to join their team based in Magor.

Location: Magor, South Wales
Pay: £15.00 per hour + £26.20 night-out allowance

The Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Tramper Driver to undertake nationwide deliveries.

The role will involve regular nights away from home and offers consistent work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle on nationwide deliveries.
• Completing deliveries safely and on time.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing all required delivery paperwork.
• Complying with drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers.
• Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and in good condition.

Requirements

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Comfortable with regular nights away from home.
