Lead Generation Executive

Salary: £13.84 – £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary, 6-8 weeks
Working pattern: Fully onsite
Start date: Immediate start available

We are looking for an experienced Lead Generation Executive to join a growing team in Rochdale on a 6-8 week temporary contract. You will generate new business opportunities through a mix of targeted outbound calling, warm leads and your own prospecting activity, with a focus on cloud-based products and technology solutions.

This is a targeted lead generation role rather than a high-volume dialler position, so you’ll have the opportunity to research prospects, have meaningful conversations and create your own sales opportunities.

What you will be doing

• Generate new business leads through outbound calling and proactive prospecting.
• Contact prospective customers to introduce cloud-based products and services.
• Research businesses and key decision-makers to identify suitable prospects.
• Follow up warm leads generated through marketing activity.
• Develop your own leads rather than relying solely on pre-qualified prospects.
• Use the CRM system to manage leads, record activity and track opportunities.
• Have conversations with prospective customers to understand their needs and identify suitable opportunities.
• Qualify leads and arrange appointments or demonstrations for the sales team.
• Follow up with prospects and nurture opportunities that are not immediately ready to progress.
• Work with sales and marketing colleagues to maximise lead-generation opportunities.
• Work towards agreed lead-generation, appointment-setting and activity targets.

About you

You’ll ideally have experience in:

• Lead generation, telesales, business development or appointment setting.
• Selling or promoting cloud-based products, SaaS, technology or similar solutions.
• Generating your own leads through outbound prospecting.
• Making outbound B2B sales calls.
• Using CRM systems to manage leads and customer activity.

You’ll also need:

• A confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to ask effective questions and identify genuine sales opportunities.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Resilience when dealing with outbound sales activity.
• The ability to work effectively as part of an onsite team.
