JDR Recruitment are recruiting an office administrator for our client in Preston PR1
Location: Preston PR1
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm,
37.5 hour working week.
Contract type: Permanent
The Role:
  • Providing full secretarial support to solicitors and other fee earners
  • Scanning incoming post, saving to relevant case folders and emailing the same to the fee earners.
  • Serve as front of house, answering phone calls and providing brief updates to agents etc
  • Creating quotes on the online quote portal
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures
  • Onboarding clients using e-cos and following electronic ID checks
  • Inputting Memorandum of Sale data received from Estate Agents onto case management system
  • Ordering searches.
  • Issuing mortgage offers to clients.
  • Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as needed
Experience / Skills Required:
  • Strong typing and document production skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal case management system
  • Professional, discreet, and client-focused approach
