Manufacturing Operator

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator to join our client based in Haydock WA11

We are looking for an experienced manufacturing operator to join the team, this is workshop based role where you will be manufacturing and operating machinery.

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8.30am until 5pm ( 4pm finish on Fridays)

Contract: Permanent.

The Role:

• Manufacture products to customer specifications.
• Safely operate guillotine and press machinery following appropriate training.
• Operate manual workshop equipment including lathes and pillar drill
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair products
• Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, ensuring products are manufactured accurately.
• Provide technical guidance to colleagues regarding engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications where required.

Experience / About You :

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Good practical engineering and mechanical skills.

• Experience using manual workshop machinery and hand tools.

• Good level of computer literacy, including experience using ERP or stock management systems.
