MIG Welder

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced MIG Welders to join a busy fabrication environment. This is a great opportunity for skilled welders looking for long-term, stable work.

Shift Pattern (38 hours per week):
Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 4:30pm

Duties include:

Welding and Fabrication
* Producing chassis and metal components to engineering drawings
* Carrying out MIG welding to a high standard
* Ensuring all welds meet quality specifications

Assembly and Production
* Positioning and securing components using jigs and fixtures
* Checking alignment and dimensions against drawings
* Supporting general fabrication tasks as required

Quality Control and Inspection
* Inspecting welds and finished parts for defects
* Reporting faults or issues with equipment or materials
* Ensuring all work meets required standards

Health, Safety and Housekeeping
* Following all health and safety procedures at all times
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Wearing appropriate PPE

Candidate Requirements
* Previous MIG welding experience is essential
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality
* Reliable with a good work ethic

Pay Rate
£14.53 per hour
