Job Title: MIG Welder

Location: Bolton

Job Type: Temp to perm

Salary: £14.25 per hour

Hours: 07:00am – 15:45pm (Monday to Thursday) / 07:00am – 13:00pm (Friday)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated MIG Welder to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong welding background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings to manufacture welded components accurately
• Perform MIG welding to a consistently high standard across a variety of components
• Operate and make basic modifications to robotic welding equipment (training can be provided)
• Identify and resolve fabrication and welding issues effectively
• Use plasma cutting equipment where required
• Maintain a strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and techniques
• Follow all health and safety procedures and apply them within daily tasks
• Support other departments when required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork

Key Skills & Experience

• Solid understanding of MIG welding techniques and fabrication methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
• High level of attention to detail and quality
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Awareness of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment
