MIG Welder

Key Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
• MIG weld fabricated components to specification.
• Accurately record job bookings and production data.
• Complete operations within allocated production times.
• Carry out visual inspections of welded components.
• Undertake first-off inspections where required.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Undertake welder coding tests when required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong MIG welding experience.
• Fabrication experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Relevant NVQ qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work accurately to production deadlines.

• Able to follow instructions precisely.
• Good basic maths and English skills.
