JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Order Pickers to join a leading temperature-controlled logistics business based in Holmewood.

Working within a busy cold storage warehouse, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using a Talkman voice-picking headset. This is a fast-paced role where accuracy, reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.

Available Shift Patterns (Choose One):

Nights

  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday

  • Both shift patterns are 6:00pm – 6:00am

Pay Rate

  • £13.32 per hour

  • Overtime paid at £19.98 per hour after 39.5 hours worked

  • Night shift also attracts £55 weekly shift bonus

Key Responsibilities

  • Voice picking using a Talkman headset

  • Accurately picking customer orders within a cold storage warehouse

  • Building pallets ready for dispatch

  • Manual handling and heavy lifting

  • Working towards productivity and accuracy targets

  • Following all health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous warehouse or order picking experience

  • Experience using a Talkman voice-picking system is advantageous

  • Comfortable working in a cold storage environment

  • Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Excellent reliability and attendance

  • Candidates looking for long-term, ongoing employment

The Induction for this position will be on Monday 17th August at 8am.
