Packing Machine Operator – Temporary to Permanent
Location: Stockport
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30 (40 hours a week, paid breaks)

JDR Recruitment are seeking an experienced Packing Machine Operator for a temp‑to‑perm role at a manufacturing site in Stockport.

Duties:

Operate and set VFFS packing machines
Carry out quality checks (weights, seals, batch codes)
Report faults or issues
Palletise, label, and store finished products
Record materials used and waste
Basic machine cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping

Requirements:

Packaging machine experience (essential)
VFFS experience (preferred)
Food manufacturing background
Physically fit for manual handling
Able to follow job sheets
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
