Part-Time Cleaner

Job Purpose

To maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe office environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring all work areas meet cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise office areas including desks, meeting rooms, reception, kitchens, and washrooms.
• Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors, and remove rubbish and recycling.
• Dust surfaces, wipe down equipment, and clean internal glass.
• Restock supplies such as toilet tissue, soap, and hand towels.
• Follow health & safety procedures, including correct use of cleaning chemicals.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
• Lock/unlock areas as required and ensure security of the building.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete required checklists.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous cleaning experience
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling (COSHH awareness desirable).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
