Job Purpose

To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic office environment for employees and visitors by carrying out daily cleaning duties to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean offices, meeting rooms, corridors, kitchens, and toilets
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
• Dust and wipe desks, surfaces, and communal areas
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and kitchen areas
• Replenish consumables (toilet paper, soap, hand towels, etc.)
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
• Report any maintenance, damage, or health & safety issues
• Lock up the building securely if required
• Follow company cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Basic understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards

Desirable

• Previous office or commercial cleaning experience
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations
• Experience using professional cleaning equipment

• Discreet (able to work around sensitive/confidential information)
• Friendly and professional attitude
• Physically able to carry out cleaning duties

Health & Safety

• Must follow all health & safety and COSHH guidelines
• Use PPE as provided

Salary

• £12.71 per hour

Shift times

• Monday – Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
