Part-Time HR Advisor

Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 (Pro Rata)
Hours: Part-Time, Flexible on days and hours
Location: Aberdeen – on site

JDR is recruiting on behalf of a growing business for a newly created Part-Time HR Advisor role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to support managers across a range of employee relations matters while helping to strengthen HR processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise managers on absence, conduct, performance and capability issues.
• Support probation reviews and early intervention where concerns arise.
• Manage short-service dismissal processes and assess potential risks.
• Support absence management, return-to-work meetings and occupational health referrals.
• Draft HR letters, meeting notes and outcome documentation.
• Coach managers on difficult conversations and best practice.
• Support disciplinary, grievance and appeal processes.
• Review and improve HR policies and processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting.

About You

• Previous experience in a HR Advisor or Employee Relations role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Confident providing practical, commercially focused advice.
• Able to manage a varied workload independently.
• CIPD qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
