JDR are proud to partner with a leading law firm based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We are looking for a confident and motivated Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor to join our clients well established PI team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor who enjoys managing their own caseload and delivering exceptional client service within a supportive and highly experienced team.

The role –

• You’ll manage your own caseload of predominantly EL/PL claims, alongside RTA and disease matters, handling files from initial instruction through to settlement.
• Managing your own PI caseload independently
• Drafting legal documents, witness statements and schedules of loss
• Handling MOJ Portal submissions
• Liaising with clients, medical experts and third parties
• Conducting legal research and staying up to date with PI law and procedure
• Working towards individual and team targets while maintaining high service standards

About you –

• 1-7 years PQE or equivalent experience
• Strong litigation and caseload management experience
• EL/PL experience (desirable)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good working knowledge of the MOJ Pre-Action Protocol and CPR
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A professional, proactive and client-focused approach
