JDR are working with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit Production Assistants / Production Operatives to join their production team on a fixed-term contract through to December 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for the stability of a long-term role with a successful manufacturing business. The Role

You’ll support the day-to-day manufacturing process, helping ensure products are produced, packed and prepared to the highest quality standards.

Working alongside Production, Warehouse and Engineering teams, you’ll contribute to the efficient running of the production operation while maintaining excellent standards of quality, hygiene and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production activities

• Pack finished products to specification

• Carry out end-of-line packing duties

• Perform basic quality checks and identify product defects

• Follow production procedures and work instructions

• Work collaboratively with Production, Warehouse and Engineering teams

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and health & safety

• Assist with other production duties following training

• Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a production environment
