Workshop Production Operative

Location: Knutsford

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

We’re looking for a Workshop Operative to join our team in Knutsford. If you’re practical, enjoy working with your hands, and like being part of a supportive team, this could be a great opportunity for you.

The Role:

As a Workshop Operative, you’ll support a range of workshop and production activities, helping to ensure products are assembled, checked, and prepared to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out assembly work using components and hand tools

• Performing basic quality and operational checks

• Assisting with packing, dispatch, and other workshop duties

• Supporting different departments and processes as required

• Working as part of a team to achieve daily workload targets

• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety

This is a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to learn different tasks and gain experience across multiple workshop functions.

What You’ll Bring:

Full training will be provided, but we’d particularly like to hear from candidates who:

• Have previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, or a hands-on environment

• Take pride in producing quality work

• Are reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic

• Enjoy working as part of a team

• Are willing to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks

• Have good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills

Pay Rate:

• £12.94 per hour
