Machine Operator – Leeming Bar

£13.01 per hour paid weekly!

Full time hours, 2:30pm-11pm

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our food production client in Leeming Bar. You’ll be working for an organisation established over 40 years with excellent employee retention and supportive management. This role starts on a temporary contract with the opportunity to go permanent.

What you’ll be doing –

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently
• Setting up machines and monitoring performance during production runs
• Carrying out basic quality checks and recording results
• Loading materials and removing finished products
• Identifying and reporting faults or maintenance issues
• Keeping work areas clean and compliant with health & safety standards

What we’re looking for –

• Previous experience as a production or machine operative role
• Experience of working in food production is an advantage
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• A strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping
• Confident working in a fast paced environment
