Location: Pleasley Vale Mills
Pay: £13.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am to 1:00pm

JDR Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Quality Inspector / Packing Operative to join their manufacturing team based at Pleasley Vale Mills.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established business offering regular daytime hours, an early finish on Fridays and a supportive working environment.

Due to the rural location of site, own transport is essential as no piblic transport operates in the area.

The Role

Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for carrying out end of line quality inspections to ensure products meet the required standards before being packed and prepared for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out visual quality inspections on finished products
* Identify and report any defects or quality concerns
* Pack products safely and accurately ready for dispatch
* Ensure products are labelled and packaged correctly
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
* Follow company quality procedures and health and safety guidelines
* Keep the work area clean and organised
* Support the wider production team as required

What We’re Looking For

* Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience is desirable
* Experience within packing or production would be advantageous
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good manual dexterity and the ability to work accurately at pace
* Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
