Recruitment Support Assistant
Manchester, M13
Temporary, ongoing | 35 hours per week
Offering £14.00 per hour, Paid weekly (every Friday)

We are recruiting a Recruitment Support Assistant to support a busy recruitment team within a large organisation. This role focuses on providing high‑quality administrative and customer support across the full recruitment cycle.

Key duties include:
  • Managing vacancies and supporting applicants through all stages of the recruitment process, from advertisement to offer
  • Assisting with the preparation of job descriptions, person specifications and job adverts in line with corporate standards
  • Coordinating advertising activity across internal and external platforms
  • Acting as a key point of contact for applicants, managers and recruitment colleagues, responding to queries by phone and email
  • Maintaining recruitment and enquiry systems, including uploading content and managing records
  • Producing reports from recruitment systems as required
  • Supporting recruitment-related projects and ongoing service improvements
  • Handling sensitive information and personal data in line with confidentiality and data protection requirements
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider HR and recruitment function
Ideal candidate:
  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer-facing role within a busy office environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A positive, flexible team player with a professional and approachable manner
Previous recruitment or HR or Recruitment experience is an advantage.
