Location: Sandbach

Salary: £12.90 to £13.20 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7:45am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 12:30pm

Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing with potential for a permanent contract

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for Soldering Operatives to join a busy electronics manufacturing business based in Sandbach. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with recent soldering experience looking for ongoing work within a clean and professional production environment.

As a Soldering Operative, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) to customer specifications. Working from engineering drawings and assembly instructions, you will carry out precise soldering tasks, ensuring all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Duties will include assembling electronic components, carrying out visual quality inspections, identifying and rectifying defects, and maintaining accurate production records where required. You will be expected to work efficiently to production targets whilst maintaining a high level of workmanship and attention to detail.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in producing quality work and is comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience / Skills Required:

Recent experience in a soldering or electronics assembly role is essential

Experience assembling PCB boards and electronic components

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards

Ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy

Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience within an electronics manufacturing environment is advantageous

A minimum of 1 year of experience within an electronics manufacturing role is required for this role
