JDR are proud to be a recruiting a Store/manager/Production Supervisor for a well established exporter and producer of agricultural products in the Perthshire area.

This is a full time staffing position.

The main purposes of the role are to

Liaise with Production Team to oversee day-to-day operations & production scheduling.

Ensure safe working practices are adhered to, meeting operational demands in a timeous manner.

Oversee warehouse grading team, stock management, facilitating co-ordination between Production & Commercial teams.

Work with Production Management Team to ensure that quality of seed is compliant with the certification standard set by SASA & wider government guidelines.

Lead department projects & development initiatives.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of the wider management team & site.

Further duties will include but not be limited to

Maintain a key role in delivering operational planning to meet wider business demands.

Ensure that operational targets are consistently met.

Responsible for stock management. Ensuring that stock movements are monitored & maintained.

Deliver high-performance standards across all site processes.

Maintain & build upon operational efficiencies, contributing directly to key business objectives.

Monitor product standards, while developing & maintaining an in-depth understanding of quality control systems & existing production measures, ensuring consistent quality standards are met.

We are looking for applicants with

Proven experience in production supervisory role (preferred).

Proven industry experience (preferred).

Forklift & Telehandler Licence (training will be provided to the correct candidate).

Safe Handling Pesticides/Seed Treatments – PA1 (training will be provided to correct candidate).

IOSH (training will be provided to correct candidate).

Proficient in MS Office – proven knowledge of relevant IT support systems including Excel, Word.

Ability to learn & utilise technical computer systems/database.

Excellent teamwork & communication skills.

Effective organisation & time management skills.

Capable of decision making under pressure
