Stores Assistant

We are looking for Stores Assistant to join our thriving client in Taunton

Pay: £13.33 an hour

Location: Taunton, Somerset

Immediate start

Shift: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5pm Friday – 8:30am – 4pm

Temporary ongoing role

JDR are currently looking for a Stores Assistant. This is a role supporting logistics team in stock replenishment, releasing stock from Stores, stock control in line to comply with short- and long-term business goals. The role also includes cooperating with our production departments to make sure information is communicated to relevant parties.

The Role: As a Stores Assistant you will be working within a manufacturing environment and your duties will be as follows:

• Work closely with Production department for stock availability and replenishment.

• Deliver all required material to production lines.

• Work with Stores personnel to verify stock levels and to make sure, that stock could be released to production.

• Review stock levels to flag shortage of stock to purchasing team.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Maintaining a continuous improvement approach.

• Any other ad hoc duties as necessary to the business, which may include covering for holiday and sickness absence

About You: As a Stores Assistant you will have the following skills and experience:

• Available to start immediately

• Able to work the shifts stated
• You will be able to travel to Taunton
