We are looking for an experienced Technical Application Engineer to join our growing client in Ivybridge

JDR is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Technical Application Engineer to join a highly reputable client of ours in the Ivybridge, Plymouth.

The role:

As a Technical Application Engineer your duties will be as followed:

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support for company products

• Support distributors, customers, and sales teams with product selection, trouble shooting and application advice.

• Respond to technical enquiries.

• Work in partnership with the sales team to convert new business.

• Assist with preparation of technical proposals, quotes and submissions.

• Monitor industry trends, ensuring you’re knowledgeable on competitor activity, pricing changes and product developments.

• Support with the creation and review of technical documentation, case studies, product literature and application guides.

About you:

As a Technical Application Engineer, you will have the following skills and experience:

• HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.

• Understand electrical and industrial systems and applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

• Willingness to travel internationally.

• Able to travel to Ivybridge Monday to Friday

• Strong problem-solving skills
