Trainee mechanical wireman

We are looking for a Trainee Mechanical Wireman

Salary: £13.50 an hour

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Shift: Monday – Thursday 7am-5pm with a long weekend off!

Temporary to permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a Trainee Mechanical Wireman to work in a manufacturing site in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The Role:

• You will be trained in assembling and wiring control/metering panels, working from technical drawings, and using hand tools and workshop machinery.
• Assist in mechanical and electrical assembly of panels.
• Drill, cut, and install components using hand tools and machines (e.g. band saw, pillar drill).
• Wire panels to provided electrical schematics.
• Learn in-house testing procedures

Qualifications & Skills Required:
As a Trainee Mechanical Wireman you will have the following skills and experience:

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
