Trainee Support Technician

JDR Recruitment are looking to recruit a Trainee Support Technician to join our client in Northwich CW9

You will be joining a manufacturing business reporting to the technical manager, you will be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software issues , guiding customers through installation and configuration.

This position is offered as a trainee role, all training will be provided but a desire to learn and understand electronics is essential.

Location: Northwich CW9

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am until 5.30pm

Salary: £25,000 per annum.

Contract: Permanent

The Role:

• Respond to queries via phone,email and ticketing system
• Diagnose faults
• Guide customers and installers through product set up
• Perform remote diagnostic
• Log and manage support tickets accurately
• Process and asses returned products
• Provide pre-sales technical guidance
• Assist with texting new software

Experience: About You:

• Strong fault finding skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good organisational skills
• Understand of electronics – desired.
