Barnsley – Office based

£13.26 per hour paid weekly!

Monday to Friday: 1:30pm-4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Training Facilitator Assistant to work on behalf of the local authority in Barnsley. The successful candidate will support frontline staff using the training and well-being cabins on site. The role ensures a smooth, safe, and productive environment for accessing well-being resources, online platforms, and council‑provided training activities.

This is an onsite role in Barnsley, working part time hours.

What you’ll be doing –

• Prepare training and well-being cabins for daily use.
• Ensure laptops and equipment are set up before sessions and securely stored afterwards.
• Provide basic digital support
• Support delivery of training sessions and scheduled well-being activities.
• Maintain professional behaviour and standards within the cabins at all times.
• Assist the wider professional team in coordinating a programme of activities for frontline staff.
• Report any issues with equipment, attendance, or conduct as required.

• Ability to work independently with initiative and reliability.
• Confidence supporting others with computer use and basic digital tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to encourage professional conduct.
• Willingness to support a varied programme of training and well-being activities.
• Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
