JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an Upholsterer for a client based in Knowsley.

Location: L33

Salary: £13.40 – £16.91 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

  • Assembling furniture upholstery in line with specifications
  • Repairing and replacing worn or damaged upholstery
  • Cutting, shaping, and fitting materials using hand and power tools
  • Carrying out heavy lifting when moving furniture items
  • Troubleshooting and resolving upholstery issues using mechanical knowledge
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

Experience / Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience is required for this role
  • Previous experience working as an Upholsterer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of working with various fabrics and materials
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
  • Good attention to detail and ability to read drawings
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects
