JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join our client based in Warrington WA2

Location: Warrington, WA2

Salary: Approximately £28,500

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm, Friday 7:00am-2:00pm

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled sewing machinist to join a busy manufacturing team. This role will involve operating industrial sewing machines to cut and stitch with a high level of precision and attention to detail.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality work in line with production specifications, ensuring all stitching and finishing meets required standards. The role will involve reading and interpreting production orders, as well as inspecting completed products for any defects or inconsistencies and making adjustments where necessary.

You will maintain a clean and organised working environment, contributing to overall safety and efficiency on site. Working closely with other team members, you will help ensure production deadlines and quality targets are consistently met.

Experience / Skills Required:

Proven sewing skills with the ability to operate industrial sewing machines

Experience in cutting and sewing materials

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to follow technical instructions accurately

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing production demands

A minimum of 2 years of experience within an upholstery or sewing machinist role is required for this role
