Warehouse Operative ideally with FLT experience

Location: Blackpool South

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
Contract: Temporary

Working in this established warehouse you will be carrying out temporary work due to the increase in workload over this busy period.

The client requires a candidate who has previous experience of working in a warehouse environment and who ideally has used FLT. This role is picking the goods and packaging up the goods from selecting the goods from the picking notes given. There are small quantities of good dispatched to general consumers from orders placed on social media platforms. Some of the order can be quite large as these are dispatched to retail outlets.

You will be working under the supervision of the team leader and working with others in this extremely busy department.

The role requires a lot of movement around the warehouse where you will be working within strict health and safety guidelines. You will be working with logistics and dispatch team.

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence for either Reach Truck or Counterbalance Truck ideally
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Able to perform manual handling tasks as required for warehouse operation
• Checking delivered quantities against paperwork
• Booking stock into the warehouse
• Storing products safely and accurately within the warehouse
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
